Summary Graphic Artist/Multimedia Specialist 3D Interactive Developer requires a diverse skill set to produce high-definition photorealistic and photo-accurate 3D interactive media to be used in simulation and/or emulation scenarios and procedural tasks as part of aviation courseware and other design assignments as required . Uses common illustration design software to produce and edit 2D and/or 3D graphics and digitized photographs for integration into presentations and/or web pages. Works with assigned experts to develop ISD products through a process that includes review and research of GFMs. Interviews SMEs and locates and extracts information from GFMs, syllabi, course structure, and other ISD documents as required to ensure training meets ISD and technical requirements. All work should be completed within the constraints of a time-sensitive schedule and budget . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Collaborate with SMEs to develop and review course materials, including instructional methods, course objectives , and valid assessment tools. • Apply established instructional design processes across an extensive curriculum. • Analyze training needs assessments for assigned projects and recommend appropriate learning solutions. • Assist in the creation of training tasks and products aligned with established requirements. • Design, refine, and improve instructional tools and development processes. • Prioritize project tasks to meet scheduled milestones. • Apply Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles to support training goals and objectives . • Utilize standard illustration and graphic design software to produce and edit graphics and digital photographs for presentations and web-based courseware. • Edit and rewrite training materials for clarity, grammar, and visual effectiveness while preserving technical accuracy. • Conduct peer reviews to ensure all courseware meets established quality standards. • Verify accuracy of written content, graphics, and terminology. • Create both 2 D and 3 D graphics for integration into interactive computer based instruction. • Consult with internal customers on performance improvement strategies and in structional approaches. • Coordinate with project managers to ensure instructional methods and sequencing meet approved design parameters. • Perform final editorial reviews and participate in trial instruction or evaluation of modified courseware. • Work with SMEs to develop static and interactive materials for classroom and simulator-based instruction. • Format and prepare technical documents using industry-standard software for classroom distribution, including importing and integrating graphics. • Support preparation of materials for Courseware Configuration Working Groups. • Assist Continuous Improvement initiatives by tracking errors, supporting root cause analyses, and recommending process enhancements. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements * Minimum of 5 years of experience producing interactive course materials, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
* At least 5 years of professional experience in systematic curriculum development or instructional design methodologies.
* Experience designing and developing self-paced, interactive instructional content.
* Working proficiency in HTML5.
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
* Ability to deliver clear oral presentations to leadership and customers.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts as required .
* Familiarity with military protocols and customs.
