Position Overview: Digital & PLM Project Manager will be Responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle management process within Garan organization, ensuring efficient product lifecycle management process ensuring efficient Product development, data integrity, and compliance by strategically managing all stages of a product's journey from conception to End-of-Life. In this pivotal role, responsible for leading the integration of advanced digital design tools & PLM. Deep technical expertise in 3D garment creation, a solid foundation in apparel design and fit, with thorough understanding of children's wear.

Your leadership will shape the future of product development by reducing time-to-market, increasing sustainability, and delivering an enhanced customer experience. You will collaborate across multiple teams, including Product Development, Design, Merchandising, and Supply Chain, to drive efficiency and maintain a strong competitive edge in the children's apparel market.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership in 3D Design:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing 3D Technical Design team, guiding the creation of accurate, production-ready virtual samples and prototypes for children's apparel.
  • Establish and refine workflows for 3D garment creation, ensuring the seamless integration of design, fit, and production requirements in digital formats.
  • Explore and implement cutting-edge technologies in 3D garment simulation and virtual sampling to enhance the creative capabilities of the design team while ensuring realistic, high-quality results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Optimization:

  • Partner with the Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to drive the adoption of 3D assets throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment from concept to production.
  • Develop and standardize processes for virtual fitting, sample validation, and design iteration, reducing reliance on physical samples and shortening the time-to-market cycle.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to cross-functional teams, ensuring they fully understand and leverage 3D design technologies to streamline operations, improve product accuracy, and facilitate quicker decision-making.

Quality Control, Fit Standards & Accuracy:

  • Define and uphold rigorous standards for fit, garment construction, and sizing accuracy in 3D models, ensuring that all digital prototypes meet the brand's quality benchmarks for children's apparel.
  • Lead virtual fit sessions with cross-functional teams to assess digital prototypes, comparing them against real-world samples to ensure that the final product is consistent in both fit and design.
  • Analyze fit data and customer feedback to continuously refine patterns, fit models, and construction techniques, ensuring that each product meets consumer expectations and performs optimally in the market.

Sustainability Initiatives & Operational Efficiency:

  • Champion sustainability by increasing the adoption of virtual sampling processes, significantly reducing the need for physical samples, and helping to minimize waste and resource usage.
  • Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain and Sourcing teams to drive efficiencies across the entire product development process, from design to production, ensuring that sustainability goals are aligned with business objectives.
  • Regularly assess the environmental impact of 3D design initiatives and virtual sampling, tracking metrics and identifying new opportunities for further improvement in sustainability efforts.

Team Leadership, Development & Culture:

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the 3D Technical Design team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.
  • Set clear, measurable goals for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and providing resources and support for team members to reach their full potential.
  • Identify emerging trends and skill gaps within the team, developing professional development programs and training sessions to keep the team ahead of industry innovations and technological advancements in 3D design.

Technology Integration & Innovation:

  • Stay at the forefront of 3D design technology and garment simulation trends, identifying and implementing new tools and software that can improve both the creative and technical aspects of product development.
  • Work closely with IT, Design, and Product Development teams to ensure that all technological tools are seamlessly integrated into the product lifecycle, maintaining compatibility and efficiency across platforms.
  • Evaluate and introduce advanced technologies, such as AI-driven garment simulation or fabric simulation tools, to continuously elevate the accuracy and realism of digital prototypes.
