Job Title

Utility Operator, Distribution Center (3rd Shift, Wednesday-Saturday)

Shift

This position works Wednesday through Saturday. On Wednesday and Saturday the hours are 11pm - 7:30am and on Thursday and Friday the hours are 11pm - 11:30am.

This position works out of our Sturgis, MI location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You'll Work On

• Shipping clerk activities

• Finished goods palletizing and warehousing

• Truck shipping

• Semi-trailer switching

• Consolidation and LTL order picking

• Inbound/put away function

• Government order picking, marking, and preparation

• Sample request selection

• Machine user maintenance and warehouse housekeeping

• Perform other dutiesincluding overtime as assigned by supervisor or manager

• Assist with Parcel Operations as needed

• Update and troubleshoot data in computerized Warehouse Management System

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED

• Have a CDL or be willing to obtain a CDL within 1 year

• Ability to work in high pressure and a constantly changing environment

• Flexible schedule - the Utility position has an assigned shift; however, on occasion will be assigned to another shift for designated periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification / degree with computer operation courses

The base pay for this position is

$19.05 - $38.15/hour
