Job description

Richardson Oilseed Products US, a division of Richardson International operates a state-of-the-art oil packaging facility in Memphis, TN where itrefines and packages one of the United States' most recognized brands of canola and vegetable cooking oils, Wesson Oil.

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Support Team Operator - 3rd Shift at our Memphis, TN facility. The hourly rate for this position is $23.40 with a 3rd shift premium of $1.25 per hour.
Responsibilities:
  • Follow all workplace health & safety regulations, policies, and procedures at all times
  • Work safely by using required PPE, applying hazard controls, and completing only authorized work
  • Actively support safety programs (report hazards/incidents, participate in investigations and training)
  • Operate and maintain the acid plant, wastewater neutralization system, and related equipment
  • Handle oil processes: receive/unload shipments, pump, transfer, and load to storage or transport
  • Perform inventory tracking, tank measurements, documentation, and maintain 5S standards
  • Provide general support (utilities, pumping, basic maintenance) and complete other assigned duties

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when needed
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Understand instruction and follow direction
  • Work primarily in a warm to hot environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
