Job description

We are seeking a multi skilled Warehouse Associate to become an integral part of our high volume warehouse. You will primarily help assist with outgoing pick and stage activities as well as receiving and route sorting. This is an evening/3rd shift position. Hours may vary.

We are looking for someone who will take initiative every evening to get the ball rolling once you are up to speed. Learning the overall scope of our business throughout departmental cross-training is the overall goal of this jack of all trades warehouse person. Accuracy of order picking, sorting, and receiving is paramount to get the fleet on the road every day.

Prior experience with warehouse software, order sorting, receiving, MRP/ERP, and general knowledge of how a warehouse works will be your keys to success.

Prior receiving, order picking/sorting experience, and general warehouse experience will be beneficial to you hitting the ground running.

We will train you how to use our software and peripherals if needed. General PC knowledge, warehouse experience,  and familiarity with warehouse machinery is a plus.

Schedule is semi flexible at night. That can be dialed in with the shift supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick, sort, organize, and receive items of various sizes
  • Use our software to allocate, consolidate, pack, and process printed invoices for fleet deliveries
  • Maintain an organized workspace with a high level of accuracy
  • Assist internal associates with scanning, picking, and sorting
  • Use inventory software to look up bin locations, find parts, and troubleshoot
  • Manage inventory items in coordination with our current processes
  • Troubleshoot any missing items and get to root cause
  • Receiving goods when needed
  • Stocking product accurately when needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a pick and ship warehouse environment
  • Ability to use computers effectively
  • Ability to handle daily sorting
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment when applicable
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • Very high ability to count, keep track, and be accurate with ship qtys
  • Great work ethic and excellent attendance are a must
  • Familiarity with forklifts and picker machines
  • ability to handle up to 50 lbs, or more with assistance or machinery.

Schedule can be somewhat flexible. Full time, NIGHTS.   12am-8am with some flexibility.
