The Warehouse (Picker-Builder) willย assistย in all warehouse activities including, but not limited to, loading, unloading, stocking,ย and sequencing all products whileย maintainingย a safe and clean working environment.ย
2nd Shift:
Monday-Friday 3pm - 11:30pm
3rd Shift:
Sunday-Thursday 11pm - 7:30am
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesย
- Be familiar with all Company products and packaging.ย
- Report all damagedย productย and equipmentย to immediateย supervisor.ย
- Pull product and build each load as directed via the voice-pick system. Pull and load the exact amount asย statedย and verify picks using scannerย
- Ensure loads (keg routes, package routes, bottle routes,ย special events, etc.) are done accurately and neatly with stop and load sequenceย affixed toย each pallet.ย
- Visually inspect all cases loaded to ensure they are in saleable condition. Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first.ย
- Navigate pick area safelyย to prevent damageย to product and equipment. Review each completedย palletย and make sure it can be counted without having to move any product. Upon completion ofย each pallet, weigh for accuracy and wrap for loading.ย ย
- Ensure proper organization, cleanliness,ย and rotation of the package storage area, draught storage, staging,ย and racking.ย
- Correctly stack products in compliance with Company standard operating procedures.ย
- Prior to the end of shift, ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and areย properly stored. Sweep, mop, clean up โbreakers,โ and restockย pickย area before leaving; keepย workย area clean.ย
- Operate equipment, such asย walkie-rider, safely and sensibly. Take responsibility by adhering to rules of operation of Company equipment ensuring the safety of self and other employees.ย
- Maintain assignedย walkie-rider andย assigned handheld and scanner in compliance with Company procedures.ย ย
- Report to work on time. At the end of each shift, report toย Supervisorย prior to departure. Obtain Supervisor approval prior to workingย in excess ofย regularly scheduled hours.ย
- Responsible for ensuring all time worked is properly and accurately recordedย utilizingย theย appropriate, designated modes of timekeeping.ย
- Maintain open and clear communications with the owners,ย managers,ย and other employees ofย theย Company.ย
- Comply withย all relevant company policies and procedures outlined in the KEG 1ย Iowa, LLCย Employee Handbook.ย
- Conduct all activitiesย in accordanceย withย local, state,ย and federal liquor control regulations.ย
