A. PRIMARY DUTIES:
* Plant start-up and shutdown / Machine startup and shutdown
* Schedule of production and personnel
* Complete daily Team Leader Shift Handoff sheet with incoming/outgoing Shift Team Leader
* Operate lines according to process control plan and standard work instructions
* Assure a safe work environment
* Review and sign-off on all WOID before allowing to advance to Shipping
* Assure the proper status of each WOID in ERP system
* Assure proper recording of downtime and rejects at each line
* Assure product quality and control of suspect/nonconforming products, including daily disposition of suspect and non-conforming material
* Supervise performance of all associates on assigned shifts, including attendance, good use of work time, and compliance with standard work
* Conduct Vital Signs meetings and record action items
* Maintain acceptable 5S level for assigned area(s) during assigned shift
* Report any abnormal conditions, including part appearance, plating thickness, flight bar or barrel condition, machine function, and machine alarms using Escalation Plan and maintenance request system
B. OTHER: (e.g. authorizations, authority to issue directives, information rights):
* Work with HR Manager and Production Manager regarding hiring, disciplinary actions, firing and accident investigation, and reporting
* Review load detail reports troubleshooting machine alarms, recipe discrepancies, and nonconforming product investigation
* Participate/lead 8D/problem solving activities
* Ensure training records for Lead Associates and Associates are current
* HWMOA or HWMO (Waste Treatment and Hazardous Waste Management Operator Assistant) and Training.
* Enforcement of RMF safety procedures and Company policies (RMF Handbook)
C. QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITES:
* Awareness of the Management System Policy- Posted at the production office
* Awareness of Quality and Environmental Objectives - Posted on vital Signs boards
* Awareness of significant Environmental Aspects related to your work areas
D. DUTIES NOT TO BE CARRIED OUT:
* Changing chemistry set points or machine set points (must work within Control Plan)
* Analyze, post report, make chemical adds, and record all chemical additions for lines that you are assigned
E. WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS: (only those actually necessary for the position) * Computer skills - proficiency with Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP system
* Troubleshooting skills (Chemical and Mechanical)
