OSM Worldwide is a fast-growing leader in B2C eCommerce small parcel mail sortation. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our overnight operations at our fully automated, state-of-the-art sorting center in Austell, Georgia.
This leadership role oversees all 3rd shift operations, including approximately 35 team members, and is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and timely processing of customer parcels. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, employee engagement, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
About the Job
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of overnight sorting center operations. This position provides leadership to supervisors and associates while ensuring operational goals related to safety, quality, productivity, and service are consistently achieved.
The successful candidate will utilize strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to optimize operational performance, develop employees, improve processes, and support the continued growth of the organization.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage all 3rd shift sorting center operations.
  • Ensure customer parcels are processed accurately and depart the facility on schedule.
  • Drive performance related to productivity, quality, safety, and service metrics.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor supervisors and associates to maximize team performance.
  • Plan, assign, and oversee daily work activities to ensure efficient use of labor and resources.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, employee concerns, and customer service challenges.

The Skills You Need
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, or parcel sortation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams of hourly/non-exempt employees in a fast-paced operation.
  • Proven ability to manage productivity, quality, safety, attendance, and service-level metrics.
