SUMMARY:
The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for running the machines to create embroidered apparel. This position is an entry level position with heavy training. This individual will work primarily between two stations. This individual must be able to manage their own time, take direction effectively, function as a a team player, and have a high desire to learn and improve processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure optimum quality on each promotional item such as correct thread tension, backing, etc.
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Function in a fast-paced environment with effective problem-solving skills
  • Ensure accurate order fulfillment such as correct logo, size & thread colors, placement, correct apparel size/color, etc.
  • Proficient in iPad and computer skills required
  • Follow standard processes set for each task
  • Manage time efficiently to meet goals for each process assigned
  • Communicate with management, various departments, and team members to professionally to maintain quality, efficiency and satisfy customer needs
  • Ensure all waste is reported accurately and disposed of properly
  • Accept and apply feedback given by management and peers

THIS POSITION REPORTS TO:
  • Embroidery Manager

SCHEDULE:
  • Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am

WORK SPACE INFO:
This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.
TRAINING:
Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.
SAFETY:
