PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking an experienced, growth-minded Chemical Packer for a leading chemical manufacturing facility for our customer in the Fountain Inn, SC area.
In this dynamic role, you will start by mastering packaging operations—filling flake product into industrial super-sacks and managing chemical material packaging. You will immediately begin cross-training alongside senior plant operators to learn advanced chemical processing skills, positioning you for rapid advancement and higher pay as you take on expanded production responsibilities.

Chemical Packer Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the efficient filling, packaging, and handling of flake product, while actively developing technical proficiency in chemical equipment operations.

  • Packaging Operations: Safely operate filling equipment to package flake product into industrial super-sacks and drums; ensure proper product weights, sealing, and palletizing.
  • Technical Cross-Training: Learn to monitor, adjust, and control complex chemical processing lines, feed auger speeds, roller adjustments, and system temperatures.
  • Forklift Operations: Safely operate a powered industrial forklift to transport packaged super-sacks, drums, and raw materials between production and shipping.
  • System Inspection & Quality: Climb equipment ladders to monitor product flow on applicator rolls; check for product defects and ensure chemical batches meet strict grade standards.
  • Process Cleanliness: Maintain a clean work area, perform line cleanouts/sanitation between batches, and ensure processing rooms are prepped for shift pass-down.
  • Safety & PPE Compliance: Adhere strictly to facility Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and regulated safety protocols, including wearing required respirators and protective gear.


Chemical Packer Requirements include:

  • Required Experience: Past machine operating and forklift experience is strictly required. Experience in chemical processing or batch mixing is a plus!
  • Growth Mindset: Strong desire and mechanical capability to learn chemical processing operations and step into higher-level technical responsibilities.
  • PPE & Ladder Capabilities: Ability and willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (including respirators) and comfortably climb ladders to inspect machinery.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physical capability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive packing tasks, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs. without restrictions.
  • Work Ethic & Dependability: Looking for a highly reliable professional with excellent attendance, solid communication skills, and a safety-first attitude.
