Job Summary
Perform skilled manual duties of a varied nature in the repair and maintenance of physical plant equipment for assigned campus, according to established procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
Active State of Oklahoma's Mechanical Apprentice Card, or confirmation that a signed application (by College Mechanical Contractor) will be submitted within 30 days of hire.
1 year operating experience on boilers and boiler systems requiring a Third Class Engineer's license.
Ability to perform responsibilities on one's own initiative with limited supervision.
Experience with minor electrical and minor plumbing jobs.
Experience with implementing preventative maintenance programs.
Ability to move heavy objects (50 pounds).
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer education and/or formal training of equipment requiring a Third Class Engineer's license.
