The Global Distribution & Logistics (GD&L) team is responsible for working closely with suppliers across the world to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. Our team fosters an internal environment that thrives on utilization of the RTX Core operating system, while coaching and supporting the supply base to ensure they meet our quality standards and achieve success in their lean journey.

The Logistics Manager Position for the FSL ( Forward Stocking Location) and GTF Warehouse will lead the a team of 3PL dedicated staff, in developing and implementing Pratt & Whitney’s Logistical warehousing and FSL  (Forward Stocking Location) in support of legacy and the Next Generation Product Family Engines Including Overhaul and Repair for the GTF Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of Pratt & Whitney’s West Palm FSL and GTF Warehousing for Production, Development (experimental), Overhaul and Repair of GTF Engine Model and Tool warehousing.

  • Manage 3PL Contract

  • Driving key strategic initiatives in preparation for an unprecedented volume ramp, while providing world class warehousing and logistics services to GD&L's many internal and external customers through execution to performance metrics in the areas of EH&S, Quality, Delivery, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, Technology, and Finance.

  • Kitting, process automation, West Palm Contract language and negotiations and implementing operating cost reductions and providing critical part support throughout the network.

Qualifications you must have:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Experience in Facilities Management

  • Experience in Logistics & Warehousing

  • Materials or Operations experience

  • SAP Knowledge in Warehousing

  • Familiarity with the CORE Operating System.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
