As a Project Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Coordinating project timelines, budgets, construction activity, and personnel to successfully complete assigned projects
• Defining and executing competitive bidding strategy
• Specifying equipment performance and design criteria
• Maintaining effective communication with project team, staff, and project owners
• Establishing accountability through understanding applicable codes and guidelines to ensure designs meet codes, guidelines, and standards

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of experience in project management in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor's degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
• Prior experience with automated assembly and packaging, webline, extrusion, material handling, and inspection equipment
• Prior experience with facilities mechanical or electrical equipment
• Prior experience managing capital projects

• Work location: Guin, AL
• Travel: May include up to 15% [domestic/international]
• Relocation: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
