Job description

Meta is seeking a Product Visualization Specialist to join the Industrial Design team, where you will create compelling, photorealistic visual representations of consumer hardware products across Meta's portfolio. In this role, you will partner with industrial design, marketing, and product design teams to create high-quality, photorealistic product imagery that pushes the state-of-the-art in rendering and styling. You bring visual storytelling and advanced hands-on rendering and 3D skills together to create delightful brand-building digital product photography, artworks and animations. You will be part of a vibrant team of artists to collaboratively explore and deliver the product imagery of the future.
Product Visualization Specialist- Robotics Responsibilities:
  • Create high-quality imagery of products across Meta's portfolio
  • Help create the visual language of our brand through images and animations
  • Work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams on complex, multi-discipline programs
  • Conceive elegant, effective ways to showcase our products, highlight features, and inspire consumers
  • Lead/own imagery needs with a combination of internal and external resources
  • Partner with ID generalists and CMF designers to accurately represent color, material, and finish options in rendered outputs, supporting the product's development

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in design, motion design, art/animation, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product rendering, 3D animation, 3D art, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in rendering and lighting consumer electronics or wearable tech products
  • Demonstrated expertise in product animation with a solid skill set ranging from concepting and storyboarding to final rendering
  • Expertise in working with AI tools such as Figma Weave, Leonardo, or similar tools
  • Experience working with 3D CAD data
  • Experience in a physically-based rendering program (Redshift, Octane, V-Ray, Arnold, Corona, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in creating and animating VFX (Houdini and/or Cinema 4D)
  • Experience using Cinema 4D, Redshift, Photoshop, and After Effects for product visualization or animation
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Great knowledge of branding and marketing best practices
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Comfortable leading the look and feel of a project
  • A clear understanding of the notions of AI/VR/AR/MR
