Job description

Standard Job Description
Seeking a Senior 3D Artist to work as part of the Aero Communications Visual Effects team. This role requires deep expertise in 3D animation, cinematic visualization, and real-time rendering workflows, with advanced experience in Unreal Engine and related 3D platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with creative directors, art directors, producers, multi-disciplined artists, and internal clients to develop visual stories that elevate Lockheed Martin capabilities. Experience with platforms such as Unreal Engine, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D and Ai generative tools is highly valued, enabling effective collaboration across the full creative pipeline.
This position plays a critical role in delivering high-visibility content supporting marketing, employee engagement, business development, and strategic enterprise initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 4 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree

  • Portfolio/demo reel required to demonstrate skill competency in 3D animation, cinematic visualization, and visual storytelling

  • Advanced technical skills in Unreal Engine and industry-standard 3D platforms such as Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar tools

  • Proficient in 3D modeling, optimizing and converting CAD models for Maya and Unreal Engine workflows, including retopology, UV layout, texturing, and material creation.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00
