Job description

Reality Labs is shaping the future of consumer electronics in the emerging fields of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. As Product Visualization Specialist, you will partner with industrial design and marketing to create high-quality, photorealistic, photorealistic product imagery that pushes the state-of-the-art in rendering and styling. You bring visual storytelling and strong hands-on rendering and 3D skills together to create delightful brand-building digital product photography, artworks, and animations. You will be part of a vibrant team of artists to collaboratively explore and deliver the product's imagery of the future.
Product Visualization Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Create state-of-the-art imagery of category-defining products
  • Help create the visual language of our brand through imagery
  • Work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams on complex multi discipline programs
  • Conceive elegant, effective ways to showcase our products, highlight features, and inspire consumers
  • Lead imagery deliverables using a combination of internal and external resources

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in product rendering, 3D animation, 3D art or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in rendering and lighting consumer electronics or wearable tech products
  • Demonstrated expertise in product animation with a solid skill set ranging from concepting and storyboarding to final rendering
  • Domain experience in the rendering process from polygon optimization through ray tracing
  • Experience working with 3D CAD data
  • Experience in a physically-based rendering program (Redshift, Octane, V-Ray, Arnold, Corona, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clear understanding of the notions of VR/AR/MR/AI
  • Comfortable leading the look and feel of a project
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Expertise in creating and animating VFX (Houdini and/or Cinema 4D)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Experience applying branding and marketing best practices to product imagery
  • Experience working within Cinema4D, Redshift, Photoshop, After Effects
