Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist with experience in PET CT and nuclear medicine technology, particularly with Siemens equipment. The ideal candidate will join a department that does not perform nuclear cardiology exams and will be responsible for a variety of imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans and other imaging techniques.
  • Handle and dispose of radioactive materials safely according to established protocols.
  • Start and maintain IVs for the administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure quality patient care.
  • Educate patients on procedures and provide post-process care instructions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
  • BLS certification in hand.
  • Previous experience preferred, especially with Siemens equipment.
  • Local candidates must possess a valid OK or Compact RN license if applicable; Allied license for non-RN positions is also required.
