General Dentist

Location: Wailuku, HI

Aloha! We are seeking a full-time General Dentist to join a community health clinic on Maui. This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving practice in an amazing, close-knit community. You'll serve a culturally diverse population, spend time educating patients, and work alongside colleagues who care just as much about relationships as procedures.


Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; ASAP start date
  • Patients: Mostly adults, some pediatrics; average 8-10 patients/day
  • Facilities: Modern facility with 3D printer to provide access to affordable dentures and crowns and reduced lab-process wait times; Epic EHR
  • Clinical Scope: Comprehensive general dentistry — root canals, extractions, oral surgery; molar endo optional, procedures can be referred out as needed
  • Support Staff: 2-3 dentists; 2-3 dental hygienists and dental assistants

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. We're open to discussing salary based on your skills and qualifications for this role.
  • 4 weeks PTO, 80 hours of sick time, plus 9 additional company holidays
  • Medical, dental, and vision

  • CDE up to 40 hours paid and $3,600/fiscal year allowance to maintain license

  • Site covers malpractice, gap insurance, licenses and fees

  • DDS/DMD from accredited program
  • Clean background strongly preferred
  • Eligible for H1B sponsorship
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Full-time availability
  • Must be willing to supervise NYU dental residents
