Description

We are currently looking to add Dental Technicians to our crew.


This position will specialize in one of the skill subsets listed below-


Scan

  • Utilize dental scanner to scan model into the CAD software
  • Verify physical model and 3D model match in the dental software

Design

  • Verify information on the Dr.'s RX form
  • Load scanned file into design software
  • Utilize design software to create a 3D image/model of the final product 
  • Follow guidelines for articulation/spacing, design process, etc. in order to have a functional final product

Finishing

  • Fit product(s) to model 
  • Using specified small hand tools, smooth out and high polish surfaces of the milled product(s) for an aesthetically pleasing look. Verify that the product fits on to the model and was designed according to RX form from the Doctor
  • Verify that the spacing is adequate and that the overall shape is correct
  • Use specified tools (microscope, grinding tool, etc.) to make adjustments necessary
  • Sandblast the surface of the product when needed

CAM/Mill

  • Load the design file into the milling software
  • Send the CAM file to the designated milling machine and place the designated product into the milling machine
  • Load the file into the milling machine
  • Run the milling cycle
