CAD Designer to support sheet metal manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create 3D CAD models and shop drawings (SolidWorks)
  • Design sheet metal components and assemblies
  • Generate DXF files for laser cutting
  • Generate CNC files for punching using CAM Software.
  • Generate STEP/STP files
  • Work directly with production teams
  • Assist with job processing

Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Fusion 360 or similar)
  • Ability to create accurate fabrication/shop drawings
  • Strong math, geometry, and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
  • 3-5 years of CAD experience in the Sheet Metal Industry
