We are currently seeking a talented 3D Technical Animator to join our dynamic team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for producing high-quality industrial 3D animations, renders, and visual designs for various media. The ideal candidate combines 3D animation expertise with technical aptitude. They should be comfortable interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, product specifications, and technical documentation, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure visual accuracy.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality industrial 3D product animations, technical visualizations, and motion graphics for B2B marketing, sales, training, and educational content.
  • Translate complex engineering concepts into visuals that are technically accurate and easy to understand.
  • Work with CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reference materials to build animation-ready assets and scenes.
  • Optimize models for performance without compromising quality.
  • Animate mechanical systems, components, assemblies, installation processes, product operation, and application environments.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to understand both the technical details and communication objectives.
  • Develop storyboards and visual approaches that communicate product functionality and benefits.
  • Maintain a high standard of realism, including materials, lighting, camera movement, scale, and mechanical motion.
  • Create and maintain a library of reusable 3D assets.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation for all projects.
  • Assist with the creation of print and digital materials for various applications, including publications, literature, presentations, advertisements, promotional items, and other marketing materials.


Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in 3D animation, technical visualization, industrial animation, or product visualization.
  • Technical education or equivalent practical experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or mechanical products.
  • Proficiency in 3ds Max and Blender.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Expertise with graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing software (After Effects & Premiere Pro)
  • Familiarity with web design and development tools.
