Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – In-Home Pediatric ABA Therapy
$22.00–$28.00 per hour | Part-time, flexible afternoon schedules | In-home and community-based | Wilmington, NC
Blossom ABA Therapy is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) — or an exam-ready candidate who has completed the 40-hour RBT training and has hands-on ABA experience — to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder, under the supervision of a licensed BCBA.
This is a direct-care role in family homes and community settings across the Wilmington area. You'll be at a child's level running skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs — hands-on clinical work, not observation.
What you'll do
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions to children with autism in home and community settings
Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) written by your supervising BCBA
Run skill acquisition programs for communication, social skills, daily living, and behavior regulation
Collect accurate session data and complete documentation on time
Respond to challenging behavior using approved, evidence-based procedures
Maintain positive, professional communication with families and your clinical team
Requirements — please apply only if these describe you
Active RBT certification through the BACB, or completed 40-hour RBT training and ready to sit for the exam
Hands-on experience providing ABA therapy to children with autism (direct 1:1 experience, not observation only)
Weekday afternoon availability
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license — sessions are in client homes across Wilmington and surrounding communities
Able to complete background clearances required for working with children
Physically able to sit on the floor, kneel, move quickly, and safely respond to challenging behavior
Pay and perks
$22.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and certification status
Flexible part-time afternoon schedule with a path to more hours
Structured, reliable BCBA supervision and ongoing clinical mentorship
Referral bonus program and team recognition events
Clear advancement pathway in ABA, including our BCBA Fellowship Program for team members pursuing certification
