Job description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a local contract Behavioral Health Technician for a local contract job in Rockville, Maryland.

Job Description & Requirements

Preferred Schedule: 

  • Mondayโ€“Friday
  • 35 hours/week
  • 7:45 am - 4:15 pm
  • Must be available for one of the following OR BOTH!

Available schedule blocks:

  • Block A: 7:45 AM โ€“ 3:15 PM
  • Block B: 8:45 AM โ€“ 4:15 PM

Pay Rates

Staff will need to complete RBT Certification within 90 days of starting, please make sure your staff are open and aware of this requirement!

  • Active BACB RBT Certification: $23/hr
  • Expired BACB RBT Certification/40 hour RBT Coursework Completed: $22/hr
  • No Coursework / Pursuing RBT / Open to RBT: $22/hr

Job Duties

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children ages 1โ€“5
  • Implement BCBA treatment plans
  • Collect and track treatment data
  • Provide progress updates
  • Support family training initiatives
  • Attend team meetings and trainings
  • Maintain client safety and positive therapeutic environment
  • Follow Verbal Beginnings policies and procedures

Note: Work is primarily clinic-based, but candidates should be comfortable making occasional home visits with or alongside of the BCBA.
