Job description

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – In-Home ABA Therapy

$22.00–$28.00 per hour | Part-time | BCBA Fellowship Program

Blossom ABA Therapy is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) — or an exam-ready candidate who has completed the 40-hour RBT training and has hands-on ABA experience — to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder, under the supervision of a licensed BCBA.

What you'll do

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions to children with autism in home and community settings

  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) written by your supervising BCBA

  • Run skill acquisition programs for communication, social skills, daily living, and behavior regulation

  • Collect accurate session data and complete session notes on time

  • Be a consistent, positive presence in your client's day

  • Respond to challenging behavior using approved, evidence-based procedures

What You'll Need:

Active RBT certification through the BACB, or completed 40-hour RBT training and ready to sit for the exam

  • Hands-on experience providing ABA therapy to children with autism (direct 1:1 experience, not observation only)

  • Weekday afternoon availability

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license — sessions are in client homes across the Durham area

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Able to complete background clearances required for working with children

  • Physically able to sit on the floor, kneel, move quickly, and safely respond to challenging behavior

Pay and perks

  • $22.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and certification status

  • Part-time afternoon caseload now, with real potential to grow into full-time

  • Case matching that fits your availability — we build your caseload around your schedule, not the other way around

  • Structured, reliable BCBA supervision and ongoing clinical mentorship

  • Referral bonus program and team recognition events

  • 401k

  • Paid Time Off- (PTO)

  • BCBA Fellowship Program
