Position Details
  • Job Title: Dental Hygienist
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $35.00 - $42.00
  • Location: Columbus Health Department, 5601 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 29 hours per week
Key Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Dental Hygienist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Delivering preventive oral hygiene care to patients of all ages, including both adults and children.
  • Conducting dental x-rays, cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and providing oral health education.
  • Documenting dental conditions, diseases, and anomalies in patient records.
  • Cleaning, sterilizing, and ensuring the proper maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.
  • Setting up and breaking down operatory equipment between patient appointments.
  • Carrying out additional related tasks as assigned.
Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $35 to $42.
