Sheet Metal Welder

A & H Metals, Inc. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Welder to join our growing team in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate has experience with MIG and TIG welding, particularly TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum sheet metal.
We operate a 23,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility and take pride in high-quality custom work for industrial and commercial projects. From sheet metal and ornamental railings to miscellaneous metals and machine shop services, no two days are the same, and your craftsmanship will make a real impact.

Responsibilities – Sheet Metal Welder:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum sheet metal
  • Fit, tack, and weld fabricated components to completion
  • Grind and finish welded products to high-quality standards


Qualifications/Requirements – Sheet Metal Welder:

  • Proven experience with sheet metal fabrication and welding
  • Strong ability in TIG welding stainless steel and aluminum
  • MIG welding experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts
  • High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
  • Analytical Skills – the ability to use logic and reasoning to solve a problem
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Valid Driver’s license, required
