Location: Johns Creek, GA
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: 80-87K
 

What’s a typical day as a 2nd Production Supervisor? You’ll be:
  • Leading and supporting production associates during 2nd shift operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of daily production plans.
  • Owning end-to-end shift execution, including real-time staffing decisions, production flow, and issue escalation during off-hour operations.
  • Enforce standard work, documentation accuracy, and GMP requirements to ensure compliance with quality systems.
  • Monitoring performance using daily management metrics and visual controls, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coaching and developing associates through on-the-floor engagement, feedback, and performance management.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams in quality, engineering, maintenance, and training to troubleshoot issues and support shift-to-shift communication and handoffs.
  • Driving continuous improvement by leading problem-solving activities and supporting lean initiatives.
  • Documenting key events and decisions to ensure seamless handoff to 1st shift leadership.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bring a minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or production and at least 2 years in direct people leadership, including formal supervisory responsibility.
  • Possess demonstrated experience working within a regulated quality system (e.g., GMP, FDA, ISO) and adherence to standard work and documentation requirements.
  • Are familiar with production performance metrics and tiered daily management systems.
  • Are able and willing to work 2nd shift hours (Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) and independently lead evening operations.
