What does a 2D motion graphics designer do?

A 2D Motion Graphics Designer creates animated visuals using two-dimensional artwork, including graphics, typography, and illustrations. They bring static designs to life by adding movement, transitions, and effects, often for videos, advertisements, presentations, or digital content. Their work involves using software such as Adobe After Effects and Illustrator to communicate ideas, tell stories, or enhance visual appeal. They collaborate closely with creative teams and clients to ensure the animations align with project goals and brand identity.

Familiarity with motion tracking, keyframing, and rendering tools, as well as knowledge of video editing platforms like Premiere Pro, is typically required.
