We are searching for an Electrical Repair Technician to perform various overhaul, rework, repair, and associated operations on aircraft equipment and components in both standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work.

This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do

  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.

  • Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels; repairs as necessary.

  • Conduct inspection of incoming assemblies/components in accordance with established procedures and technical data.

  • Responsible for performing complete operation checkouts, modifications, disassembly, repairs, reassembly, test calibrations,

  • diagnoses, and correction of problems.

  • Follow repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.

  • Set up necessary repair and test facilities.

  • May be required to complete an apprenticeship or training

  • An essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods. You will be required to successfully complete a post offer vision examination.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written).

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge of any of the following machines: Airvac, Onyx BGA, AOI 3D

  • Welding certification, preferred

  • Knowledge of the following processes such as: Onyx, Sandblaster, Airvac, Press Fit, Swaging, Coating, Solder Mask, among others

  • Knowledge of replacement parts/connectors

  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
