Vessel  welder 
1st shift 
3-yrs experience 
Pay  $26-28 DOE
Responsible for executing fabrication projects in accordance with welding procedures. The
successful individual will have the necessary qualifications with a continual focus on safety,
quality, cost control and customer satisfaction when performing the duties of the position.
You have a strong focus on safety, be a team player and have a strong work ethic.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
3+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Uses metal core MIG, flux core welding process
Ability to pass applicable test(s) and applicable Non-Destructive Exam
Knowledge and experience in vessel fabrication.
May weld brackets and braces and use grinders. May position pieces to be welded
into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand
tools.
May perform position welds on code materials
Quality x-ray and ultrasound test welds with minimum rework
Proficient in flame and plasma cutting torches and automated equipment
Able to read and understand blueprints and fit up pipe, flanges, etc. with minimal
supervision.
Able to operate basic cutting equipment
Promotes and supports safety, production and positive attitude
Requires operation of heavy machinery such as welding tools on a constant
frequency and forklift on an occasional frequency
Weld according to Welding Procedure Specification and its parameter requirements
Knowledge of different types and sizes of pipes, structural and vessel materials.

Experience and Skills requirements:
Requires employee to stand for long periods of time.
Welding school certification.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Standard requirements. Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting and
reaching will all be required occasionally in this position.
Requires employee to frequently inspect equipment, climb stairs or ladders and
must be able to maintain balance on stairs or ladders without assistance.
Must be able to work in cold/hot weather conditions.
