Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced GMAW Welders for projects located in or around Ocala, FL. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
  • Perform advanced welding, fit-up, fabrication, and repair of metal and other weldable materials
  • Complete welding in 2G, 3G, and/or 6G positions as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and diagrams
  • Determine appropriate welding processes and sequences for assigned projects
  • Prepare materials and equipment for welding operations
  • Ensure all welds meet structural, quality, and safety standards
  • Inspect completed welds and identify defects or required repairs
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and automated welding systems
  • Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys as required
  • Follow all safety procedures while working in industrial and hazardous environments
  • Assist in training and mentoring other welders as needed

Requirements:
  • Must be certified to weld in all positions, including horizontal, vertical, overhead, and fixed 45-degree angle (6G)
  • Must have experience performing complex welding requiring a high degree of skill and precision
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
  • Must have knowledge of AWS standards, NDT requirements, and industry welding codes
  • Must be able to inspect and verify weld quality
  • Must have experience operating and maintaining welding equipment
  • Must have 3-5 years of certified welding experience and/or proven welding qualifications
  • Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship
