Rogers Group is currently seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Maintenance / Millwright Technician in the Tanner, AL and West Huntsville, AL area of the Alabama SMA, reporting to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.

Job Details:

  • Wages dependent on experience 
  • Starting wage will be higher based on verifiable maintenance experience. 
  • 2-3 years mining experience required
  • Fulltime/Permanent 
  • 2nd Shift - Nights
  • $3.00 Night Shift Premium 
  • Weekend work may be required

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for overseeing maintenance  
  • Perform routine inspections
  • Preventative Maintenance

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, without close supervision.
  • Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
  • Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
  • Valid driver's license.
