VAL-CO is a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment. We are currently looking for Full-Time Machine Operator's in the New Holland, PA facility. The position is second shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 1am. Pay starts at $18 per hour depending on experience with an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential. Training will be on first shift. (6:00am to 2:30pm)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Set up and operate production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Adjust machine setting to complete tasks according to specifications in a timely manner
  • Complete required logs and tracking cards
  • Ensuring that machine is maintained for highest level of productivity
  • Performing in-process inspection on components being produced
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams
  • Consulting lead person for assistance if uncertain how to proceed
  • Ensuring proper housekeeping and safety of designated production area

Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods up to 8-10 hours per shift
  • Lifting of up to 50 lbs. periodically
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
  • Basic English language skills
