Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Lincolnton, United States. In this role, you will operate the VSL4 Jumbo Slitter on the 1st shift, ensuring precision cutting and converting of materials while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for monitoring equipment performance, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical specifications, and a commitment to operational excellence.
  • Operate and monitor the VSL4 Jumbo Slitter equipment throughout the shift, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy
  • Set up and adjust machine parameters according to job specifications and technical requirements
  • Conduct regular quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications
  • Monitor material flow and equipment operation to identify and address any issues promptly
  • Maintain organized and clean work areas, adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime
  • Record production data, machine performance metrics, and any operational issues in designated logs
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
  • Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisory staff immediately

Qualifications
  • Proven experience operating industrial slitting or converting equipment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of VSL4 Jumbo Slitter operation or similar converting machinery
