Job description

Responsibilities:

  • setting up and operating machine tools like lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines to produce precision parts. 
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications, select appropriate tools and parameters, and monitor machine operation to ensure quality and productivity. 
  • Quality control is performed by using precision measuring tools. 
  • Routine maintenance and minor repairs are also part of the role. 
  • Document processes and production data, maintain a clean and safe work area, and collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing. 
  • Troubleshoot production issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to run master's and/or run rabbits
  • Reset errors and perform machine offsets

Requirements:

  • high school diploma or equivalent, with formal training in machining being preferred. 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is important, and proficiency in operating various machine tools, including CNC machines
