Your Opportunity:

Taylor DM Brands, formerly known as Amsterdam Printing, is looking for an Equipment Operator to join the team in Amsterdam, NY.

Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, operate and adjust assigned machinery to specifications per customer work order

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and prepare for the next user

  • Produce product to specifications by following all processes and procedures

  • Performs routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output

  • Visually inspect product throughout run for quality

  • Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates

  • Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.


You Must Have:

  • Ability to set adjust machinery to required tolerances

  • High degree of mechanical ability

  • Basic math skills & ability to read measurements with a ruler

  • Good reading ability.


Requirements within this position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials

  • Frequently required to move inside the facility

  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

  • 1 year experience in production or as an equipment operator

  • Good color discernment


The anticipated hourly pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay rate offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
