1st Shift – General Labor/Assistant to Cleaning Technician
Location
Grand Rapids, MI

$18 per hour

Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable, hardworking General Laborer to assist Cleaning Technicians with residential and commercial carpet-cleaning services. Responsibilities include moving furniture, preparing work areas, operating cleaning equipment, loading and unloading supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Applicants should be punctual, able to lift up to 50 pounds, work well with a team, and provide friendly customer service. Training is provided; prior cleaning experience is not required.
Responsibilities
Respond to water, fire, and mold restoration projects including extraction, drying, demolition, and basic repairs
Set up and monitor drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers
Operate and maintain cleaning and restoration equipment as needed ensuring all work is completed efficiently and meets company quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies while on job sites
Assist team members as needed to complete projects on schedule
Key Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor in various environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
