Job description

Join a high-impact team where you’ll install, maintain, and troubleshoot critical cell tower infrastructure that keeps communities connected. As a Cell Tower Technician 2, you’ll work at heights, use cutting-edge equipment, and play a vital role in expanding and maintaining wireless networks. If you’re hands-on, safety-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding, in-demand career. This position is based in Bloomfield CT.

What You Will Do:

  • Basic understanding of project documents and JHA paperwork
  • Ability to read and understand rigging plans
  • Basic understanding of RF and Steel installation/ modification
  • Perform various rigging tasks as directed
  • Ability to perform compliant climbing techniques
  • Ability to perform truck and trailer maneuvers

What You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in cellular construction
  • Excellent physical conditioning and stamina.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions; including but not limited to snow, rain and varying temperatures.
  • Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Be willing to travel; hotels and per diem provided
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Sweep & PIM testing & fiber testing certifications or experience
  • Competent Tower Climber and Rescuer Certification preferred
  • First Aid & CPR (Centerline will re-certify if required)
  • NWSA TTT1 & TTT2 certifications

    Work Environment

    • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear.
    • Occasionally the work requires the employee to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently the employee is required to lift or carry up to 10 or 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 or 100 lbs.
    • Able to climb to and work at heights exceeding 300’ feet.
    • The employee needs to have good vision for close work, distance, color discrimination, peripheral, and depth perception.
