We are seeking talented mid-level integration technicians on back half (Sun-Wed) 1st shift to execute development and production integration and test activities of the Leo satellite in final integration.
Key job responsibilities
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Operation of Dynamic test equipment (Vibration, Shock, Acoustic.)
- Assemble tooling and assist with equipment maintenance.
- Communicate production progress and blockers to engineering and leadership
- Operate a crane holding sensitive equipment with a payload up to 3000 lbs
- Ability to work with various hand tools and calibrated equipment
- Use computer software programs for running tests
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient, safe and effective work environment
Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift time: 1st shift Sun-Wed 4 / 10s (6:00 am - 4:30 pm). Shifts may vary, depending on program needs.
Able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive assembly operations
Able to climb and down ladders, work in tight spaces, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
Able to lift at least 25 lbs

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

A day in the life
The Satellite Dynamic Test Technician II is responsible for execution of assigned tasks based on production requirements and priorities. You will also be expected to communicate production blockers and process changes to engineers and leadership where applicable. Attend daily meetings to discuss priorities, safety, and quality issues or concerns

You must also thrive in a fast paced and high-stress production environment with changing priorities and objectives. To be successful in this role, you must be detail oriented and highly motivated.
