Job description

Your hours will be from 7:00 am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday (Subject to modifications may require night work/ weekend if required).
Basic Primary Functions:
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, including incident rates, near misses, and corrective actions taken.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
  • Provide training and education on safety topics to employees at all levels - Stay up-to date on industry's best practices and regulatory changes related to safety.
  • Report all workers comp claims - First reporting (HR handles after that point)
  • Report on all accident claims to Insurance company - First reporting (HR handles after that point)
  • Keeps up with Intermediate training and ensure medical cards are up to date
  • Completes in-house Incident reports
  • Monthly Safety meetings - Must show sign off sheets
  • Basic primary functions are subject to change due to us being a 24-hour emergency response company. Every day is different.
  • Depending on the severity of the situation, incident/accident you may be required to take a night or weekend call and/or email.
  • Handle disciplinary action as needed
  • Must have some computer experience- Outlook, and Fast learner on apps
  • Be able to lift at least 50 pounds - If needed
