Front Desk Agent

Springhill Suites by Marriott in beautiful Dania Beach/Ft Lauderdale area is seeking an experienced Front Desk Agent for full-time hours. Starting compensation at $17.00 per hour is based on experience - growth opportunities available. Must have open availability, including holidays and weekends. Essential Job Functions

  • Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests warmly, maintaining eye contact, using a positive tone, actively listening, and responding appropriately.
  • Maximize revenue and guest satisfaction by applying effective selling techniques, optimizing occupancy and rates, and delivering accurate information about hotel facilities.
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures by maintaining a cash bank, adhering to accounting guidelines, handling guest room keys responsibly, and protecting guest privacy.
  • Support hotel operations by coordinating with departments, staying updated on front office activities, operating office equipment, handling check-ins/check-outs efficiently, and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Full-time hours available (at least 30 hours per week). Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience/Education
