Who You Are:

We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a Skilled Nursing LVN. This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationship with staff and residents. The right candidate will always strive to do the best job possible, to be creative and to work towards accomplishing facility goals.

SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Painter is primarily responsible for performing general painting functions and repairs on all physical structures.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Essential Functions
1. Performs scheduled painting maintenance in the facility.
2. Completes work orders and special projects in a timely manner; keeps maintenance shop and storage areas neat and orderly; maintains tools and equipment in good working order.
3. Is on call for all disaster emergencies such as: snow, ice storms, fire, tornados and floods; is placed on a weekly on call schedule.
4. Maintain work area and keep the department in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
5. Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing.
6. Demonstrates the community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates and vendors.

  1. Must be able to read, write and follow written and verbal directions.
  2. High School education or GED required; graduate of accredited technical school preferred, but not required.
  3. Position requires a minimum of one to three years of hands-on maintenance and/or mechanical experience.
  4. Position requires a valid driver's license.
  5. Position may require certifications or licenses, as determined by local authority.
