Some community centers, libraries, or camps also offer volunteer opportunities or internships for young teens. It's important to check your state's labor regulations and obtain a work permit if required. Networking with family, friends, and neighbors can be a practical way to discover opportunities suitable for your age and interests.

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, basic computer skills, or safety procedures may be required for specific roles like retail, food service, or babysitting.
