Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Willis-Knighton Health System.

Additional Details:

OR RNs only: Application must include either an OR - Circulating or an OR - Scrub skills checklist, in addition to the OR - RN checklist.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be comfortable attending high-risk deliveries and supporting Level 3 NICU/PICU. - High-risk delivery experience, including neonatal intubation if necessary. - Airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, non-invasive ventilation, Code Blue and rapid response experience, and inhaled nitric oxide administration.

Unit Details: - Common cases include COPD, CHF, flu, pneumonia, COVID, ARDS, lung cancer, stroke, ALS, post-CABG, post liver/kidney transplant, oral and maxillofacial surgery, radical head/neck surgeries requiring tracheostomy, minor trauma/MVA, GBS, RSV, cystic fibrosis, and high-risk delivery neonates. - Equipment used includes Servo U, Servo I, Trilogy, V60, EV300, Vapotherm HVT, Vapotherm Precision Flow, Airvo 2, Percussion Air IPV, ResMed Lumis TX, oscillator, and Neopuff for deliveries. - Travelers will not work specifically with ECMO. - Transport may be by ground or air.

Special Requests: - Holidays as assigned unless RTO is in the contract. - RTO must go through the manager for approval.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36/48-hour rotation. - 7 on/7 off, 3/2, or 5/2 rotating weeks may be considered. - Every other weekend. - 2 call shifts per month with a 2-hour minimum; call may include adults. - Less experienced RTs will be required to take call to cover the unit while the more experienced therapist accompanies transport. - Additional call is available on a voluntary basis.

Floating Requirements: - Flexibility to float throughout all 4 campuses during the contract is required; campuses are 20-25 minutes apart. - May float among Willis Knighton Medical Center, Willis Knighton Bossier, Willis Knighton Pierremont, and Willis Knighton South, covering ED, ICU, stepdown, Med/Tele, L&D high-risk deliveries, and at Willis Knighton South also Level 3 NICU/PICU/Peds. - Valid driver’s license required; will be floating to 4 different campuses during the contract.

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
