Key Responsibilities

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision and direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Deliver skilled OT interventions focused on ADL retraining, fine motor function, upper extremity rehabilitation, and functional independence
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or changes to the supervising OT
  • Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and relevant clinical observations per facility and regulatory requirements
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programmes, and adaptive strategies
  • Maintain productivity standards and billing compliance in line with facility expectations
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient transitions and optimal outcomes

Requirements

  • Active COTA certification and New Hampshire state licence (or compact/endorsement eligibility)
  • CPR/BLS certification current
  • Minimum 1 year of COTA clinical experience; SNF/post-acute rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to manage an assigned caseload under OT supervision
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
