Job description

The Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, leading and supporting team members, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role helps maintain service, food quality, cleanliness, and operational standards while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. The Shift Lead serves as a key leader during shifts, ensuring smooth execution and acting as Manager on Duty when assigned.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and manage shifts to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Direct and position team members for success throughout each shift
  • Deliver outstanding guest experiences and maintain a guest-focused culture
  • Ensure all company policies, procedures, and standards are followed
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment
  • Maintain a clean, organized restaurant through a "clean as you go" mentality
  • Complete all opening and closing administrative duties when serving as Manager on Duty (MOD)
  • Monitor food quality, service standards, and overall restaurant performance

What We're Looking For:
You don't need to be a pizza expert on day one-we'll teach you that-but you should bring:
  • At least 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurants, hospitality, or retail with responsibility for financial results.
  • ServSafe Certification highly preferred
  • A passion for creating a great work environment and coaching a winning team.
  • A guest-first mindset with a genuine desire to make someone's day-one slice at a time.
  • A strong sense of ownership, integrity, and accountability.
  • High personal standards and the ability to motivate a team to meet them.
  • The adaptability and excitement to thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing restaurant environment.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for occasional bank deposits).
  • A desire to grow with a company and build something special in the Norcross community.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per work and weekends and holidays
