General Summary: Under the supervision of the Secretary of Interior and the Environmental Director the Recycling Specialist will collect and transport recyclable materials from the Muscogee ( Creek) Nation departments located at: 1) the main tribal complex; 2) satellite offices; and 3) other locations, as directed. Deliver recyclable materials to recycling facilities, as appropriate.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain recyclable pick- up and transport schedule. 2. Inspect collection sites on a routine basis.
3. Maintain adequate collection receptacles.
4. Inspect and sort materials, as appropriate.
S. Record site volume information via computer.
6. Maintain recycling vehicle in good working order. 7. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. 8. Wear personal protective equipment, as appropriate. 9. Transport trailers, supplies, and set up materials at outreach events. 10. Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree ( GED); one ( 1) year of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Requirements: One ( 1) to three ( 3) years work experience with environmental programs or Tribal Agency.
Valid Oklahoma Driver' s License required? Yes
