Job description

About the Job
CDL//Non CDL 3/4 & 1 Ton Driver - Trailer Pulling Experience A Must !
About the Role:
Stripes Logistics is seeking a dependable driver to operate an owner-operator-owned 3/4-ton or 1-ton truck and 40' trailer. This is an over-the-road (OTR) position-not a home-daily route. Drivers must be willing to stay out for two weeks at a time and have experience loading and unloading low-clearance vehicles and strapping down loads.
This is a 1099 contract position. The truck you are assigned must be kept clean, road-ready, and moving. Your habit and discipline directly impacts your pay.
Requirements:
  • No smoking-strictly no-smoking policy in all company equipment.
  • Must have experience loading/unloading low-clearance vehicles and strapping down LTL loads.
  • Preference given to those with relevant experience and those with prior CDL experience.
  • Valid driver's license with:
    • Clean driving history.
  • Pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Willing to be on the road 14+ days at a time.
  • Able to perform operator-level maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on reliability and safety.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate Stripes Logistics Company's partner owned truck and trailer for Regional (TX) or OTR freight.
  • Safely load and unload vehicles and freight (especially low-clearance units).
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues.
  • Perform maintenance to keep the truck earning and on the road.
  • Stay in regular contact with dispatch to ensure smooth deliveries.
  • Follow FMCSA, DOT, and company safety guidelines.
  • Keep equipment clean, organized, and ready for the next dispatch.
Pay Structure:
  • Guaranteed base pay: $750/week.
  • OR 25% of the truck's weekly gross revenue.
  • (Whichever is greater-your pay increases as the truck performs.).

This structure rewards drivers who minimize downtime, take care of their equipment, and stay productive on the road.
