Job description

Victor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Rams is looking for Lube & Tire Automotive Technicians to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs effectively and efficiently in accordance standards of operation.
  • Vehicle Services – perform lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance (e.g.: bulb, wiper blade and filter replacements, etc.), battery testing and installations
  • Tire Services – perform wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, changing, mounting, and installation
  • Perform NYS Inspections in accordance with all regulations
  • Assist with all general shop duties, ensuring the shop is in excellent condition and maintained to standards for cleanliness
  • Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with safety standards
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, OSHA standards, safety and environmental codes and industry regulations including consistent use of required personal protective equipment

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License
  • Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
  • NYS Automotive Inspector’s license preferred but not required.
  • Must be available to work Saturday hours.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) as needed
  • Spends 100% of work-day standing
