The Division of Infectious Disease provides extensive care for patients dealing with both acute and chronic infections and is recognized as a leader in the field of infectious disease management. We are also dedicated to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals through exceptional graduate medical education and are engaged in pioneering research aimed at advancing our field for a brighter future.

Established in 1951 as Central Suffolk Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center stands as the largest hospital in eastern Suffolk County and serves as the eastern hub of our organization. The full-time clinical base salary at our organization ranges from $125,000 to $750,000. This range is influenced by various factors, including physician specialty, experience level, quality of care, academic achievements, patient satisfaction, and productivity.
